Ongoing Opportunities
Hospitality Team
Hosting our UUCJ Coffee and Fellowship Hour is a great way to meet people. Set up, serve and break down and clean up. People will talk to you and learn to know who you are! Luis Parra () is the chair of our hospitality team and can answer any questions you may have about this wonderful service opportunity. What better way to start or end your week than by making sure that we take care of one another with some warm hospitality and hot coffee?
Really all three slots can set up, serve and clean up. However, we want to make sure at least two people are on cleanup duty. You should be able to set up come to service and just leave a little early to make sure it is ready by end of service.
You can volunteer for a Sunday by filling out the sign-up book in the social hall.

Pooling our Talents at UUCJ
Do you play an instrument, sing, tell stories, recite poetry? Or something else? The Music Team is putting together a potpourri of UUCJ members and friends of all ages who are each willing to perform for 3 – 5 minutes. Presentations would be grouped together to form mini concerts for upcoming services. For More Info Contact Cee Cee at . In house talent is always well appreciated by our UUCJ Congregation!
Volunteer to be a Childcare Worker for the Nusery
We are working on re-establishing the UUCJ nursery, which will be a wonderful way to welcome families to our Beloved Community! To make it work, we need childcare volunteers to step up and oversee the little ones. If you’re interested, please contact Kathleen Renee () and the Church Administrator () so that we can run a background check (paid for by UUCJ).
