This Sunday Munsell McPhillips explores our beautiful forests in all their complexity and wisdom. The adaptability of the forest and the varied survival techniques of its members are so very relevant to us today.

Munsell has been a member of UUCJ for nearly 20 years.  Her educational background is in biomaterials engineering. She was principal scientist of a midwestern engineering firm specializing in urban flood control, river restoration and riparian forest restoration. Since moving to Florida in 2006, she has been active in conservation activities in Fernandina Beach and wrote and narrated the film Living in a Maritime Forest, produced by the Amelia Tree Conservancy.
