Facility Rental Rates for 2018

Individuals who have been members of UUCJ for at least one year are entitled to have free use of our facilities for their own wedding or memorial service. Our minister is available to officiate these events with no expectation of honorarium. (Pianist and AV tech, if requested or required, will generate additional costs.)

A Building Usage and Request Form is required for EVERYONE. (You can download that form here.)
Liability Insurance is required for ALL Paid Renters.

Standard Pricing

50% discount for people who have been members for at least one year.
All prices below reflect a single use on a single day.

  • Classroom Rental (Regular): $50.00/hour
    (The regular rooms are the Anthony, Channing, Emerson, Fletcher, Howe, and Ingersoll rooms.)
  • Social Hall (not including kitchen use): $100.00/hour
  • Social Hall (including kitchen use): $150.00/hour
  • Chapel (not including AV use): $100.00/hour

Security Deposits (refundable):

  • Classroom: $100.00
  • Social Hall: $200.00
  • Sanctuary: $200.00

Rental Down Payment (non-refundable):

  • Classroom: $50.00
  • Social Hall without Kitchen: $100.00
  • Social Hall with Kitchen: $150.00
  • Chapel: $100.00

Refunds:

  • Same day cancellation I No show: NO REFUND
  • 1-7 days’ notice of cancellation: 50%
  • Over 7 days’ notice of cancellation: 100%

Additional Costs

  • Rental Facilitator (separate from room rental fee): $150.00 for a standard wedding
  • Minister/Officiant: cost varies
    Our minister, if available, may be booked upon request. This must be negotiated directly with the minister.
  • Pianist: $100.00/hour
    Our pianist, if available, may be booked upon request. This must be negotiated with the pianist.
  • Soundboard Operator Only: $100.00 flat fee
    If extra video or computer services are needed: $150.00 flat fee
