If you are interested getting involved in community justice through UUCJ, you are urged to check out our ICARE committee. ICARE (the Interfaith Coalition for Action, Reconciliation, and Empowerment) is a group of congregations in Jacksonville who address problems of citywide injustice—UUCJ is a a member. ICARE’s successful actions have resulted in systemic changes, such as the use of restorative justice for youth guilty of misdemeanors.
