Our Gang Outing: May 16

May 16th, Wednesday: Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation, Georgia Historic Site and State Park

Friends, we will be leaving from UUCJ upper parking lot promptly at 8:30 am.  Please arrive prior to 8:20 am so we can consolidate the group into two or more cars depending on how many are going.  We hope to arrive a little before 10:00 am at the Plantation.  We will tour the grounds and see a video.  We will then join the 11:00 AM guided tour of the house.  After tour, we will spend few more minutes walking around the grounds.  We will leave the Plantation at 12:45 pm for Mudcat Charlie’s, which is restaurant nearby on the water.  We will eat lunch and most likely start back to UUCJ at 2:30 pm.  Fees for admission are $8.00 for Adults (18-61) and $7.00 for Seniors (62+).  If you are having mobility issues, we can drop you off at the house before parking.  Call or e-mail Carlos Fraticelli (904-894-4660, cmf1944@outlook.com) who is Our Gang Trip Coordinator for this trip.
