If you brought pictures in for our All Souls Service back on Oct 29th and would like them back, they are in the front office waiting to be picked up. You may pick them up on Sunday after service, or anytime during office hours, Mon – Thurs 9a-3p (please call first to make sure someone is here).
We are currently at 2,766 pounds. We need only 234 more pounds of food to reach the goal of UUCJ donating 1,000 pounds more food than in 2016. Yes, this is a 50% increase in contributions. It is a privilege to be person that delivers your generosity to the Food Bank.
Healthy Eating Class will be held Dec. 17th at 12:30 in the Fletcher room. Worried about over-indulging? Not to worry- check out our healthy holiday appetizers!
The book club will meet on Tues., Jan. 2, at 1:00 pm, at Books-a-Million, to discuss Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. All are welcome to attend.
So an old-fashioned nativity set isn’t relevant to a UU church? You haven’t seen Crệche, a multi-generational pageant that presents the Christmas story in a new light. Come to the December 17th service to see the traditional figurines become renewed symbols of the wisdom and wonder of the season.

Last chance for advance tickets this Sunday 12/3. The concert will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, 12/8. If you can’t make it to church, mail your check made out to UUCJ to Barbara Robinson, 230 Magnolia St., Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 17 and under. You can get tickets at the door for $20 for adults the night of the concert.
