Takes Ten?

Have you ever wondered what takes ten? Does it take ten eggs to make a great omelet? Does it take ten degrees higher to feel warmer? Does it take ten pushups to burn 300 calories? Does it take ten chapters to make a good book? Does it take ten dollars to go to the movies? . . . . . .

Guest Speaker for August 20th: Rev. Ron Hersom

A graduate of Starr King School for the Ministry in 2007, Rev. Hersom was ordained in Albuquerque, New Mexico at First Unitarian Church and served as Assistant Minister until May 2010. Following numerous chemotherapy treatments and a successful stem cell transplant, he has been in remission from cancer since early 2014. Even with remedial issues that have made him legally blind and breathing with less than one lung capacity, Rev. Hersom continues to look to the future taking the gift of life, even this new normal he has, not only one day, but one precious moment at a time.
