With our newly remodeled social hall and campus improvements, engaging Sunday services, and growing children’s and adult programs, we are ready to reach out to the wider community to encourage adults and families who share liberal open-minded religious values, and the call for social justice, freedom and democratic principles, to visit and hopefully join!.

This fall UUCJ will air announcements on WJCT Public Radio to promote our church in Jacksonville and East Nassau. David and Melody Shacter have made a generous donation with a challenge grant of $1,500 toward the cost of $4,920 toward the campaign. Our goal is to raise the remaining $3,420.

All gifts to UUCJ are tax-deductible and will be pooled together and donated to WJCT as a sponsorship to underwrite this campaign. If you are already giving to WJCT (for example through monthly donations) you can switch and give them through UUCJ. If you are a member of the First Coast Society (FCS), please consider making a gift to UUCJ over-and-above your FCS gift.

We will begin this campaign with the special collection this Sunday, and continue the campaign through the end of June. Any extra money raised will be set aside for a Spring campaign. This gives us a head start on keeping the momentum going into next year. For more information, see Peter Racine.
