In March, the UUCJ Board established the Ministerial Search Team, composed of Penny Reid, Robert Prager, Tom Larsen, Nancy Murrey-Settle, and Jeff Funderburk. After reviewing the charter, we got down to the business of writing the “Notice of Ministerial Opportunity,” essentially an advertisement for a Contract Minister. At the Board’s direction, we are advertising a 2-year contract with the opportunity to become a called minister at our church.

We have met weekly since March 22, and taken work home as well, to develop a quality product. We posted the Notice with the UUA on April 13, 2021. We’ll keep you updated as we continue our search.
