Arlington Community Services Update

JUST WOW!  Besides the cash donations I do not track, Arlington Community Garden and UUCJ donated 141 lbs. of groceries and other gifts a week.  At this pace, you will exceed our shared goal by 3,744 pounds by the end of the year.

When those stimulus checks come, if you can share some of that cash with ACS and the other charities you support, you could continue to help those less fortunate during this crisis.

Note from Mary Louise Weber, Executive Director of ACS:

Your gifts of food, monetary donations, masks, scarves and hats, clean white T-shirts, and socks continue to be amazing. We helped 18 families with rent/JEA in February and fed 176 clients and 32 homeless. We have received a bounty of green beans, corn, mixed beans, and mac & cheese.

Current needs are: saltines, pasta meals, pop-top soup, tomatoes, fruit juice, sardines, tuna in pouches, gravy, Hamburger Helper.  We are also in need of small toiletries for the homeless bags. Continue to be safe and blessed!
