Special Collection: Partner Church

Arlington Community Services Update

Pace for First Six Weeks Puts Us 6803 lbs. at the end of Year – Y’all Obviously Plan on Exceeding the Our Goal of 3500 UUCJ/ACS Teamsters delivered 98 pounds, funded by Barbara, Marion, and Carlos, to Arlington Community Services.  Cyd donated 45 lbs. last Thursday.  Many of you made cash contributions directly and via our Special Collection that looks like it will be over $2,000. Arlington Community Services Update

Thanks for Hitting the Ground Running in January 2021 – 608 lbs! UUCJ donated 575 pounds of groceries, and Arlington Community Garden delivered 33 lbs. for a total of 608.  Let’s keep that up.  Please focus on ACS needs list.  Mary Louise Weber, Executive Director of ACS, indicated that they are thankful for all of your food gifts, monetary donations, masks, scarves and hats, clean white T-shirts, and socks. Caring Candles

Marge Powell’s father, George D. Powell, Sr., passed away on January 26, 2021 in New Zealand at the age of 100. He was very interested in genealogy and he published his autobiography as a resource for future generations. Condolences go out to Marge and Tom and  their family.
