Aaron Krosnick.  We received a message from Wes Krosnick on November 27, 2020 that his father, Aaron, had died 2 days ago from complications due to a fall at his home.  Wes has moved into the family home to care for his mother, Mary Lou.  Aaron was a retired Professor of Violin at Jacksonville University.  In the early 70s he was the concertmaster of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.  He and Mary Lou played during the Sunday services for many years.  Also they had graciously hosted several UUCJ fundraising concerts at their home. Several posts on Aaron’s Facebook page from his students at Stanton and Jacksonville University describe his important influence on their musical development.  Our condolences go out to Mary Lou and Wes and their family.

Mary Murrey.  Nancy Murrey-Settles’ sister, Mary Murrey, age 65, passed away on December 3, 2020 after fighting cancer for 14 months.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to Nancy and Steve and their family.

Mary Claire Van der Horst.  Mary Claire was discharged to her home today.  Cards and notes are welcome.

Rev. Ron Hersom.  Donna Janesky recently visited with Rev. Ron. He extends good wishes to all the UUCJ community.  He is no longer eligible for a lung transplant.
