Arlington Community Services Update

Three UUCJ Donors Gave 101 Pounds as of Tuesday Morning.  Great!  Arlington Community Services’ current needs are listed below.

Note from Mary Louise Weber, Executive Director of ACS :

Your monetary support, food, and mask donations have been wonderful!  We are blessed by your radical hospitality to serve our Arlington neighbors in need. We fed 243 folks and helped 14 families with rent/JEA in September. Your generosity has been overflowing during these uncertain times! Thank you so much, and keep us in your prayers.

We are open Monday-Friday, 9-12, at 1450 Rogero Rd, to serve the community. Continue to be safe.

Current needs are:  canned peas, corn, soup, meats, tomatoes, gravy, instant potatoes, Hamburger Helper, pasta and rice sides, Jiffy Cornbread Mix, peanut butter, jelly, laundry detergent, toilet paper, small toiletries, and socks for our homeless.
