UUCJ/ACS Teamsters delivered 30 pounds of groceries this week and 40 last week. Some UUCJ members are dropping their grocery contributions since we no longer collect donations at UUCJ on Sundays, and several have switched to donating cash.
Message from Mary Louise Weber, Executive Director of Arlington Community Services:
It’s back to school time, and we appreciate your donations of school supplies and backpacks. So far, we’ve been blessed to feed 109 folks and help 8 families with rent/JEA in August. Thank you for helping us serve our neighbors!
Current needs are: canned potatoes, mixed beans, mixed veggies, canned pasta, gravy, instant potatoes, Jiffy Cornbread Mix, pop-top pasta dinners, sweet potatoes, stuffing mix, tuna, chili, Jello, laundry detergent, bottled water, and small toiletries for the homeless.
Be Safe. Do Good.
