Speaker Bio for August 4th: Nancy Murrey-Settle

Nancy Murrey-Settle, MA currently  teaches AP Human Geography and AP European History at Stanton College Preparatory School.  She has a background in anthropology, journalism, and is a former librarian. A recent graduate of Mindful Schools, a practicing meditator and a certified life coach, Nancy’s coaching specializes in discovering meaning and purpose in your life choices.  When she is not teaching, grading or preparing lessons she likes to write. She participates in a women’s writing circle  called  Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville, which builds community by encouraging women to explore their stories and their voices.  She lives in Riverside with her husband Steve, two teen daughters, a dog, feral cats and chickens.
