Saturday, March 30th at 10:00 a.m. Tree Hill/Arlington Community Garden Outing!
Green Sanctuary (GS) will be leading its first outing of 2019 to Tree Hill Nature Center and UUCJ’s organic vegetable garden (growing food for pantries, a GS project). We will meet at the garden site where our assistant grower will show us what is happening at the garden, then Mark Mummaw, Executive Director of Tree Hill, will take us on a tour of the Tree Hill campus and the indoor learning center. Tree Hill is our partner in the garden project and a hidden gem, a beautiful nature center right next door to us! Come see what we have right in our back yard! No reservations needed, just show up. Meet at 9:30 at UUCJ if you are not sure where the garden (amphitheater) parking lot is and we will caravan together.
