Generosity in Action for May 2017

The honoree for May’s Generosity in Action is David Laffitte! David has organized and worked on many projects related to renewing and upgrading our church campus: He’s organized the Campus Condition Survey in 2015 and the roof repairs for the Sanctuary and North Wing. He’s worked with the Campus Renewal Group through the contracting of Cathy Duncan, and advised both the group and the architect during the process. He currently heads up the Campus Renewal Group to help set priorities for work on the campus, and the Keeper of the Church Group to verify that proposed changes are in the spirit of Bob Broward’s design. David is also working on getting proposals for lighting for the church and campus—especially for the parking lot. Let us all thank David for his tireless work in making our church a safe, welcoming and beautiful space!
